The Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church youth group is a growing ministry within a growing church in the middle of a growing area! Recently the youth ministry has seen an influx of students due in part to an influx in families as well as students bringing their friends on a regular basis.

Taylor’s Valley is currently beginning a capital campaign for the construction of a new children’s building due to the growing church as a whole and, especially, the children’s department. Since 2018, the children’s department has split into children and preteen groups to better suit the needs of the students. Those ministries have already begun to feed the growing youth group but the bulk to the incoming youth that are new to the church will be moving from the preteen group into the youth group over the next 2 years.

The reach of the youth group is expanding and the future is bright as the members of church’s staff work together to create a unified plan for discipleship from children all the way through adulthood.

Success in the TVBC Youth

  • Guiding our Youth

At this pivotal age we hope to see our students master the redemptive storyline of scripture, make a rugged commitment to follow Jesus and reflect Christlike virtues, and be trained as disciple makers. Over all, we want to raise faithful ambassadors who will bear witness to Jesus in word and deed.

  • Building Relationships

We believe youth ministry is based largely in the relationships that the youth build with their ministers and ministry teams. As such, TVBC puts high priority on the building of relationships with regular attendees, as well as other students in the community, to be able to speak encouragement, give direction, and begin the discipleship process.

  • Preparing for the Future

TVBC is growing! Our youth regularly average 20-30 on Sunday mornings. With no graduating seniors and our preteen group averaging between 20-30 regular attendees it is obvious this is a group set for growth. The ideal youth minister will invest in the students and their families to not only minister to those that are here, but to pave the way for those to come.
