Food Pantry
Hours of Operation
Our food pantry is open from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on the first four Wednesdays of the month.
There is no food pantry on the 5th Wednesday of a month.
Participation
Clients are authorized to participate in food distribution twice per month. Our volunteers will request a photo ID at registration.
Location
The food pantry is located behind Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church at the intersection of South 31st Street and FM 93 Highway. Please remain in your vehicle once you are in line. You will be waited on in-turn.

History
Our Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church Food Pantry became an agency partner of the Central Texas Food Bank on January 29, 2001.
The founders had a calling to establish a food pantry for members of Taylor’s Valley that needed assistance. Shortly thereafter, the focus expanded to Temple and the surrounding Bell County communities. That was the “cornerstone” that led to where we are today.
In 2021, we celebrated the 20 year anniversary of the Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church Food Pantry. We are thankful for the impact this ministry has had on the Bell County area and the volunteers that make this ministry possible. Here is our story.
