Preteens
Grades 4th-6th: Not an awkward stage, but a fertile training ground
TVBC Preteens is a space created just for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. We focus on three key areas of growing in faith, Friendship, Bible Study, and Service to Others.
Friendship-Helping preteens build strong friendships. Preteens value friendships. We strive to help kids build strong friendships. These friendships are a source of encouragement and strength as they navigate this season of life. Laughter and fun is a must-have each time we gather together.
Bible Study-Rooted deeply in God’s word. Preteens are developing the skills to think deeply as they study God's word. Each time we gather we are rooted in God's word. Preteens are encouraged to ask the hard questions and are challenged to apply the truths they learn in everyday life.
Service to Others-Loving others as themselves. Preteens are provided with several opportunities to serve their community. Each preteen has unique gifts given to them by God to do good works (Eph. 2:10). We take seriously our mission to Show the world the Way, the Truth, and the Life of Jesus.
Upcoming Events
Sundays
Life Groups at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
Ages: Babies - 6th Grade
Kids will connect with others and learn about the Bible through the Gospel Project curriculum. Kids’ Worship Time and Small Group Sessions focus on loving God, loving others, and loving the World.
Wednesdays
Bible Study at 6:15 p.m.
Ages: Babies - 6th Grade
Kids will develop Bible skills through lessons, games and memorization. Kids will also learn about and grow a passion for missions as they focus on loving God, loving each other, and loving the world.
