I have been blessed to be a part of a family that loves and serves Jesus. My personal relationship with Jesus began when I was an 8-year-old girl.  My life story is a testimony to God’s constant faithfulness.  Through all the hard parts and all the joyous parts of life, Jesus has always been by my side.

I am a born and raised, West Texas girl.  There’s nothing better than a West Texas sunset, except maybe a West Texas sunrise.  I grew up in a small town near Amarillo, with my parents and sister.  I have a B.S. in Education from West Texas A&M.  I have a Children’s and Preschool Ministry Certification from Texas Baptists.  I also have an Advanced Certificate of Ministry from Truett Theological Seminary. I am also a certified SYMBIS facilitator (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts).  I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Family Ministry with a counseling specialty at Dallas Baptist University. I am a lifelong learner! My husband and I have served in ministry in many different capacities our whole married life.  We were serving on a church staff in Amarillo when the Lord called us to TVBC in 2019.

I have been married to my husband Jackie since 2008.  We love DIY projects and camping.  We have 4 adult children and have recently been promoted to grandparents. Being “Honey” is better than I ever expected!  The Lord put our family together through the miracle of adoption and it’s an incredible story of God’s faithfulness.  We also were foster parents for several years and have many other children we consider part of our family.

I am very passionate about missions and have been blessed to share the gospel in multiple countries around the world. I love leading teams and helping others grow a love for the nations.

I am so blessed to be able to walk alongside families and help parents disciple their children.  It’s one of the greatest joys of my life to get to spend time with kids teaching them about Jesus. I believe that kids are not simply the future of the church, but the church TODAY!
